Yoga
Children learn to achieve balance of the mind and body
through the practice of Yoga. The focused breathing,
and the various asanas (postures), help children to develop body awareness along with building concentration.
They are also taught Ahimsa (non-violence), one of the
core principles of Yoga.




Meditation is another art that has been preserved
through various cultures. In teaching the children the
"basic" principles, they gain more clarity and focus. The
practice itself teaches them to detach from negative
emotions and calm their energy. We encourage the
youth to incorporate meditation in their daily regimen.

Chess​​
Chess is an art that stimulates the mind through the
application of strategy and focus. The youth are
introduced to the basic components, continuing to
learn as they engage in matches during each class

session.

Health and Fitness
The topic of adolescent health and fitness is a major
concern these days. Addressing the issue head on we
implement a holistic approach in teaching the youth.
They are educated on the science of health; the
nutritional value of food, along with proper exercise
for the body.
